The 2017 Clergy-Laity Assembly will be held May 3 - 7, 2017, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.  St. Catherine Parish in Greenwood Village, Colorado, is hosting the event.

 

Finding Purpose in His Gifts

For the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Every two years, members of the parishes of the Metropolis of Denver gather for our Clergy-Laity Assembly, which provides us with the opportunity to come together in fellowship as members of the Church, to obtain useful tools for parishes, and to gain insight into the vision and direction of our Metropolis.  This year's theme "Finding Purpose in His Gifts," will focus on using our God-given gifts collectively to the glory of God and for the benefit of His people.  Metropolitan Isaiah's protocol announcing the Assembly may be viewed at Protocol 17-02.

 

Registration

Online registration for all participants is open through April 20.  The registration fee is $250 and includes all meals throughout the event weekend. 

For those not registered for the assembly, a la carte tickets are available for Thursday evening's reception at the Metropolis Center and for the banquet on Friday evening.  To purchase tickets, click on the registration button and choose a la carte tickets within the participant menu.


 

Hotel Information

A special rate has been negotiated for a block of rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, located off of I-25 and Orchard in the Denver Tech Center.

The room rates are available until April 12, or until the group block is sold out.  Please note that different rates will apply for different nights.

  • May 2-3  $149 per night, plus taxes and fees;
  • May 4-6  $110 per night, plus taxes and fees.


 

Transportation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation between the airport and the hotel. Arrangements can be made through the companies listed below: 

 

A shuttle will be provided to and from the hotel and the listed venues.  Please indicate whether you would like to reserve a seat on the shuttle when registering for the assembly.

  • Thursday evening reception: A shuttle is provided between the hotel and the Metropolis Center;
  • Saturday evening choir practice: A shuttle is provided between the hotel and St. Catherine parish;
  • Sunday morning Diving Liturgy:  A shuttle is provided between the hotel and St. Catherine Parish.
