A Pilgrimage for Orthodox Christians to Greece:
In the Footsteps of Saint Paul.
For the fifth year they will lead Orthodox Christians on a pilgrimage to biblical and spiritual sites from Philippi in the north of Greece to Corinth in the south. The Pilgrimage will retrace Saint Paul's Second Missionary Journey, and at each site the account of events that took place there will be read from the Acts of the Apostles. |
| The pilgrimage will also visit some of the most important and inspiring monasteries in Greece, including Saint Stephen's at Meteora and Osios Loukas near Arachova. Pilgrims will have an opportunity to venerate the holy relics of Saint Dimitrios the Great Martyr, Saint Gregory Palamas, Saint Theodora and Osios David, Saint Haralambos, Osios Loukas, Patriarch Gregory V, Saint Philothei, and others. |
Itinerary |
The tour price includes flights to and from the United States to Greece. While in

About the Pilgrimage |
|
Who is this Pilgrimage for? This is a pilgrimage for adult Orthodox Christians seeking to deepen their faith and spirituality. It is ideal for Orthodox clergy and laity alike. If you need a spiritual boost, if you wish to walk where the Apostles walked, if you enjoy visiting Orthodox churches and monasteries: join us! What will we do on this Pilgrimage? We will visit biblical archaeology sites where the Scriptures will come alive as we read from the Acts of the Apostles at the places in Greece where Saint Paul preached. We will also visit active monasteries — in northern Greece, on the mountain tops at Meteora, and on the island of Aegina — where we will have an opportunity to meet living spiritual fathers and mothers. We will join together for daily prayer, and on Sunday we will participate in Matins and the Divine Liturgy at a local parish in Kalambaka. Last year's Pilgrimage ...
